Welcome to ABSW Designs.

I’m Bryan — the maker behind the brand. I’m an engineer by trade, a woodworker by calling, and someone who genuinely loves figuring out how things work. My mission is to craft legacies rather than simply build furniture. Every piece is meant to be a testament to enduring quality and meticulous craftsmanship — things that stand the test of time.

I’m always balancing heritage techniques with contemporary approaches. The studio encompasses furniture creation, 3D modeling, CNC machining, and 3D printing. It’s a lot of different tools in service of one goal: building things worth keeping.

Why the Blog?

This space will cover a range of topics — from woodworking process and material deep-dives, to thoughts on craft and technology, to the occasional personal reflection from the bench. I hope you find something useful here in your own journey, whatever that looks like.

What I’m About

I love understanding things. How they work, what they’re designed for, what creative solutions exist when the obvious answer doesn’t fit. That curiosity runs through everything I make — whether it’s a mortise-and-tenon joint or a 3D-printed prototype.

Each project I take on is part of your story — a reflection of what you’re working on, working toward, or working through. That connection matters to me.
